Universal Furniture’s Virtual Market returns for the retail and design communities beginning Monday, Nov. 16.
Participants will have access to full collection reveals, live showroom walkthroughs, live Q&A sessions with product experts and 360-degree virtual showroom tours. Although Universal Furniture saw more customers than expected during the revised October market in High Point – 50% of its normal traffic — it wants to re-create the experience for those unable to attend.
“In a year where everyone has been forced to pivot, we worked hard to translate every aspect of the market experience that could be delivered virtually,” said Universal Furniture Director of Marketing Neil MacKenzie. “We want everyone to feel like they’ve participated, whether they can make it in person or not.”
The virtual market concept, first introduced in April 2020 as a result of the cancellation of spring market, drew thousands of participants during its six-day run and garnered praise from retailers and designers.
“Participants appreciated the depth and breadth of information we were able to deliver via email, social media, virtual conference platforms and the website,” said MacKenzie.
