The Minimalist Multifunctional D&DEPARTMENT JEJU by Schemata Architects

D&DEPARTMENT JEJU by ARARIO is a minimalist multifunctional area positioned in Jeju, South Korea, designed by Schemata Architects. The venture features a restaurant, retailer, gallery, workshop and hotel-like areas serving as an extension of the shop. The constructing was designed as a two-way cultural change level.

For the resort areas, dubbed “d room,” the rooms are lined up north to south alongside the central hall with every room having a window looking. No two rooms have the identical flooring plan, and have distinctive irregular layouts inside.

Objects inside the frequent space and personal rooms – together with furnishings, vegetation and miscellaneous items – can be found on the market inside the retailer. Since one constructing was not sufficient to accommodate the entire features, the architects mixed two buildings into one.
