Cara Lodge is a Mediterranean-inspired boutique lodge positioned in Los Angeles, California, designed by Bishop Move. Located throughout the Los Feliz neighborhood, the 60-room property sits on the foothills of Griffith Park. Initially constructed as a Nineteen Fifties-era motel, the lodge acquired a full transformation, having each the inside and exterior redesigned.
The ensuing area is an open-aired idea anchored by a central courtyard that includes an expansive eating venue together with a serene reflecting pool. Olive bushes and California palms present stress-free shade, bringing the pure surrounding atmosphere inward for a scene that captures the California spirit.
The visitor rooms function a impartial palette of sunshine oak herringbone flooring combined with cream limestone and handcrafted parts from native artists. Every room is highlighted with a personal balcony overlooking the interior courtyard, and outfitted with pictures by California-locals Natalie Obradovich and Isabelle Aubin.
