When you’ve ever been inside 30 toes of a kid, chances are high you’ve heard or learn the enduring youngsters’s e book, Goodnight Moon. When you’re a mum or dad, you probably memorized all the phrases years in the past. New York-based design studio Fort Makers brings the colourful e book to life by means of an immersive exhibition referred to as Goodnight Home. Goodnight Home reimagines the bunny’s bed room with a sequence of commissioned art work and furnishings by modern designers and artists whose work exudes a child-like marvel. Commissioned items embrace: the upholstered mattress and handwoven textiles by Liz Collins; ceramic desk lamps by Samuel Harvey; a rocking chair, stools and cloud-shaped bedside desk and storage unit by CHIAOZZA (Adam Frezza + Terri Chiao); work by Marcel Alcalá; footage frames and hand-carved wood spoons by Nick DeMarco; Goodnight Moon character-inspired candles by Janie Korn; candles made in Goodnight Moon’s shade palette by Crying Clover (Sara Gernsbacher + JPW3); ceramic clock on the mantle by Keith Simpson; ceramic bowls by Lauren Elder; ceramic mugs and bowls by Shino Takeda; bedside rug and ottoman by Tamika Rivera; painted silk curtains and pillows by Fort Makers Co-Founder Naomi S. Clark; and a dollhouse gentle, black balloon sconce and etched wood cubes by For Makers Co-Founders Nana Spears & Noah Spencer; and extra.

Goodnight Moon, written by Margaret Smart Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd, was first revealed in 1947 however Fort Makers curated a set of products that give it a contemporary spin.
