A number of additional brands will be showcasing products at the Jan. 6-12 Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.

“Dallas continues to lead the way in showcasing the hottest new products and brands,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “During the first market of the year, buyers will see it first and place orders first for on-trend gifts and stylish home decor. Whether retailers need in-stock items now or are planning ahead, we will give them the best opportunity to discover what they need to succeed in the new year.”

Across the 5 million square foot marketplace of permanent showrooms and Temps, highlights include:

Porch View: Todd Smith and Charlie Groppetti make their global debut of new showroom Porch View (WTC 280). The brand offers home furnishings and accessories in a relaxed, casual aesthetic.

For more than 35 years, talented MacKenzie-Childs artisans and designers have handcrafted ceramic and enamel tableware, furniture, home accessories, and more, with a pattern-filled aesthetic. Buyers will now find Glow by MacKenzie-Childs and Patience Brewster by MacKenzie-Childs at Patrick & Co. (TM 2927).

Ann Gish Luxury Linens’ detailed and finely made bed linens can now be found in Luxe Gift Temps in the Trade Mart in addition to Gish’s collection with Global Views (IHDC 1D209).

The Gallery (IHDC 1D202), Dallas Market Center’s shared showroom of home décor resources, will also feature new exhibitors. Benjamin Moore will debut a color wall of paint samples as a resource for daily buyers and designers in search of swatches to guide product and textile selection. Kelly Butler Home will offer her curated selection of antiques. Buyers will also find works by artist Shima Shanti, who experiments with beeswax and fire to create impressionistic paintings of sky and sea.

In addition to the permanent showrooms, a full marketplace of Temps will be presented in January. The Temps at Total Home & Gift Market (January 6-9) will showcase hundreds of new and returning exhibitors. Buyers will explore four Temps neighborhoods: Trade Mart 1 will feature Luxe Gift Temps; on WTC 12 will be Gift, Home & Design Temps; on WTC 13 will be Apparel & Fashion Accessories; and in Market Hall will be Vintage Home & Décor, Antiques, Cash & carry, and Artisan Cash & Carry.

Supporting the comfort, health and safety of all attendees, the market center continues measures that began earlier in the summer and will remain in place for the foreseeable future. Those protocols include mandatory face covering and temperature screening for every person entering the marketplace every day. Other efforts include low contact entry via the Market FastPass, which saw a dramatic adoption in the summer, as well as enhanced cleaning with hospital grade products, hundreds of hand sanitizing stations, limited food service, no gatherings, and signage for social distancing. Along with these new steps, there are safety measures that are part of the natural design of the marketplace: open parking, large entryways, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators to each floor and showrooms with controlled access to allow for the appropriate distance between customers.
